Q. How many hours does it take to obtain your Private Pilot’s License?

Q. What do I need to start my training?

A. Only a few basics as we provide most of what you'll need. E6B flight computer, and a kneeboard. An aviation headset eventually. We can guide you in your choice of these.

Q. Do I need an FAA medical certificate?

A. You'll need to make an appointment with an FAA medical examiner to get at least a Third-Class FAA medical certificate. You will need this before you solo.

Q. Can I do ground school on-line?

A. Yes, we partner with King's schools for ground school. Also, in person ground school with your Instructor helps to Ace your written exam!

Q. Do I need to register with the FAA as a student Pilot?

Q. Part 61 or Part 141?

A. We operate under Part 61 as opposed to Part 141. Whether you obtain your Private Pilot License under Part 61 or Part 141, the same privileges and limitations apply.

Q. Are pilots in demand?

A. This need for pilots is expected to continue for years to come as it transitions to the longer-term pilot shortage. With the industry continuing to grow and doubling every 15 years, pilots will remain in high demand as this trajectory continues.

Q: How much does it cost to become a pilot?
